When your cooktop is not in use and the downdraft is closed, these trim pieces cover the top of the downdraft so that it blends in with your cooktop to create a sleek, cohesive look. This trim kit is for use with model UXD8636DYS. Installing this accessory will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this accessory.
